1. Do I have to make a reservation for a Private Bay Boat Swamp Tour or Airboat Swamp Tour?
   Yes, Reservations are Required!
2. What makes New Orleans Swamp Tours different than other swamp tours?
   We are different because we will cover 12-15 miles of swamp on our tours. Our tours are conducted using high speed bay boat or Airboats which will whisk you away from our location on Bayou Barataria or Luling, LA . Within minutes of leaving the dock, you are in Swamp Heaven!

4. How far away is the swamp?
   Airboat Swamp Tours are located 12 miles from Downtown New Orleans. Private Bay Boat Swamp Tours operate a little further away from Downtown New Orleans on Bayou Barataria, about 25 miles from city (35 minutes). Once you leave New Orleans you will ride alongside of the Jean Lafitte National Park where your imagination of your upcoming adventure will really kick in.
5. Can I bring a Cooler?
   Yes, but on Private Swamp Tours (Bay boats) only. We also have coolers available on these boats and you can certainly bring any beverage you like including Beer. We do not allow coolers on Airboat Swamp Tours.
6. What should I wear?
   Anything Casual and preferably nothing that will fly off while on your high-speed tour. Hats, Sunglasses, Sunscreen.
7. Where will you pick me up? Drop me off?
   New Orleans Swamp Tours offers transportation service from most New Orleans area hotels. Please call to confirm if our shuttle service is available from your hotel. We will review your pickup time with you when you make your reservation. If we do not pickup from your hotel specifically, the nearest pickup location will be most likely only 1-2 blocks from your hotel.
8. How do we get to the swamp?
   Should you book one of our many tours that include transportation, shuttle service is provided in one of our mini-buses or Vans.
9. Can you guarantee me an exact return time and location?
   Every attempt is made to remain on schedule and to return customers to their hotel for the times indicated. We cannot determine the unexpected traffic delays back to the city though. Should you have a special concern regarding your return time, please advise us upon making your reservation and discuss this with your driver.
10. How do I pay?
    We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.
11. Can I bring small children on the boat?
    YES, for safety reasons children 16 years of age and younger must wear Life Vest at all times. For Airboat Swamp Tours specifically, all passengers must also be at least 48 inches in height.
12. Should we tip the Captain?
    If you have a wonderful time, tipping the captains will certainly be a kind gesture.
13. Do we have to worry about bugs and mosquitoes?
    Typically bugs and mosquitoes will not be an issue on your Swamp Tour but in the event you want bud spray or even sunscreen we carry some additional on the boats.
14. If I drive, when should I arrive?
    We suggest that you arrive at the swamp 15 minutes prior to tour time to allow for check in.
15. How often do you provide Swamp tours?
    New Orleans Swamp Tours are offered 4 times a day during the winter months (November through March) with a 5th tour offered late in the day (4:00pm) during the summer months.
